We offer a wide range of high-quality courses and extra-curricular activities.

The Legacy Institute school provides a unique educational opportunity for a community that has historically been underserved by existing educational institutions and options. We were established to fill an existing community need for high achieving minority students with the potential for academic acceleration. Admission is competitive. Potential Lions are required to sit for an entrance exam and demonstrate proficiency in math, show reading, and comprehension fluency, and exhibit the ability to express themselves orally and in written form.

We have a commitment to ensure that our pupils receive the best pastoral care and support so that they feel happy and safe here and are therefore able to thrive and achieve academically. Our Student Services team are all trained to work with young people and as part of the team we have other students support the application process.

We will require more, quality of work, course workload, and community service/internship. In lieu of electives, students will take courses that are prerequisites for high school graduation. Per the research, a capable student is given the opportunity and the space to excel will reach a higher level of academic achievement.
